This standard integrates and fully replaces the original GB 18584-2001 "Limits of Hazardous Substances in Interior Decoration Materials and Wooden Furniture" and GB28481-2012 "Limits of Hazardous Substances in Plastic Furniture". Its reform efforts, strict requirements, and wide coverage have set an unprecedented safety benchmark for the furniture industry.
